Dr Folu Agbede is an experienced medical doctor with a rich background in urgent care, and general practice/family medicine. She now works as a locum GP, supporting multiple clinics and healthcare centres across Ireland. This gives her a broad and up to date understanding of the health needs of different communities and allows her to deliver reliable, personalised care in a wide range of clinical environments.

Her journey includes serving as a GP at Centric Health, where she provided family centred care, and several years at Affidea Express Care in Santry, where she managed urgent care cases, specialist clinics, and fast response medical assessments. Before moving to Ireland, she worked extensively in family medicine and emergency settings in Lagos, diagnosing and treating patients, stabilising acute conditions, interpreting lab and ECG findings, and supporting women’s health.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and is registered with the Irish Medical Council. Patients consistently highlight her warm manner, clear communication, and ability to make complex medical issues easy to understand.
